Back online!

My broadband connection (not the stolen one) is working so I'm back online. Now I'll be able to get to my many emails and start reading all the blogs I've neglected of late. For those of you who know how verbose I can be, this isn't going to be one of my long epistles so you can breathe a long sigh of relief.

Here is the evidence that I work in an orange building:

And here is a pic I took of the moon over Prinsengracht at 8am as I was on my way to catch the tram. Yet again, I wish that I had a decent camera and not have to rely on my camera phone.

Glad to see you are (legitimately) up and running again! I am looking forward to many Amsterdam tales and pictures.

Your next move is to switch to Blogger Beta! It works great, and I think soon you'll need to switch - right now those of us using Beta need to long in twice to leave you comments. Sad. Haha!

Yes, that's absolute proof that you work in an orange building, Nomad.

Happy new life, work and everything. Which reminds me, there's a place here called New Amsterdam...but it looks really old.

Blessings Brother;

WOW...I am shocked & amazed by the number of countries you have skyrocketed to. KUDO's my friend.
Why are all the sidebars dropping to the bottom? I've noticed a growing number of people falling victim to this, yourself and guyana-gyal are just the latest.
I still haven't found within my own coding how to fix this problem, and am in the process of re-designing my whole site because of it. (though I won't be putting it up until it's completed perfectly, it's the virgo in me).

The windows on that building are peculiar how they don't line up. Well, they do, just in alternating rows. And it's definitely orange. A very strange land, indeed if we are to base it on the architecture of one building alone. Hey, that may be kind of fun, shall we? I mean base it just on that. Nah, I didn't think so either. ;) Glad to see you made it safely. I'm anxiously awaiting your updates and wishing you the best.

Does having a "legal"connection make blogging more pleasureable?

I must say your camera phone takes pretty good pics, considering. Mine just come out all fuzzy. Mind you that probably has something to do with the fingerprints smudged over the lens.
But I digress.
How was your Spijker evening?

I’ve been neglecting to acknowledge comments but never too late so here goes:

Minge : Delicious? What’s delicious?

J. David Zacko-Smith : You’ll get lots of pictures and stories! I can’t switch to Blogger Beta as it won’t allow me to. I think that changes I made to my template make an automatic switch difficult.

Caroline: It’s more orange than in the pictures. I’ll take a picture in better light one of these days.

Bill: I’m glad to be back online too!

Guyana-Gyal: Thanks. Probably not as old as this Amsterdam!!

Ancient Clown: It’s good to see you again, not seen you for ages. I didn’t realise that my sidebar had dropped, hope it’s back where it should be.

My flag thing needs to be updated so that it can be displayed again. Not sure if I want to as it’s unlikely that I’ll get many more than I’ve already got.

LiVEwiRe: You do come up with some whacky ideas sometimes!! :-)

Gay banker : Thanks. Um, I’ve no doubt that I will!

ChittyChittyBangBang!: Things are always much more fun if illegal! However, in this particular case, the fun was very unreliable so it became frustrating after a while.

Saddle Up: Meeting up for a beer sounds good. I’ll send you my contact details.

Terri: Camera lenses don’t like fingerprints! The Spijker evening was a damp squib – I left after one beer.

angel; Thanks. Not sure yet, soon I hope.
