Something for the weekend, sir?

Have you noticed how straight barbers are so often parodies of 'ultra masculinity'? It's as if they want to distance themselves as much as possible from any idea that they may be gay.

Where else, apart from in the company of drunk men watching a game at a bar do you find people who are so obvious about their liking for football, girls and getting pissed?

I wonder if straight koffie-moffies (*) (do they exist?) are the same?

Back in the '80s when I needed a regular dose of Big Hair I went to a really macho hairdresser, so I know exactly what you mean!

Am trying to think about the hairdressers i have come across and they are either women or gay, so have not witnessed macho behaviour while getting my head washed. Still on stereotypes, i love confortable shoes, specially this german make - however, i once heard a comment at uni that women who wears those specific sandals are lesbian. Purrrrleeeze..... So, now i get all self-conscious, what messages will i get across by wearing this or that? ;)
btw, just finished baking your carrot cake. Absolutely fabuloso!!! Best carrot cake ever, you were right.

I've met a few koffie-moffies and I confirm they behave as straight barbers. On the other hand, gay football players do not act as sissies.

andrea: Poor guys, these straight hairdressers/barbers who have a career that is totally associated with gays. You and big hair? Now where are the pics?

xmichra: Seems like it’s not just me that notices these things.

nyasha: Are you referring to those lezza shoes called Birkenstocks ? Nyasha is a lezza, Nyasha is a lezza!! :-)

Glad you loved the cake – I hope it becomes a regular accompaniment to your coffee.

frog with a blog: I assume you mean straight ones? I’ve yet to meet one. Or, for that matter, see one.

One of the few straight male hairdressers I know gave it up as he was so annoyed at being continuously assumed to be gay - he became a lorry driver instead - I've often wondered if that helped at all!

It's a bit like those girls who are forever waxing lyrical about their boyfriends - they're obviously terrified of having to say "no".

Blessings my friend;
I haven't cut my hair, nor shaved my beard in over 3 yrs, but I'm left wondering anyway...as mankind hasn't really proven to be so smart with it's definitions of things,(not you personally), let alone the understanding of them...is it possible that there is no homo, hetro, nor bi, but just plain, ordinary "sexual".
That people don't come out of, nor stay in, any closets, just go through changes of learning, understanding and perspectives.
That regardless of our exterior design, nor our internal desires, we ALL have BOTH masculine & feminine energy in varying degrees.

I always like to say; "I don't think I know, I just know I'm thinking." I'm also left thinking that if the church really embraced the teachings of Christ and GOD that they would just hug everyone, instead of attacking and condeming them based on being sexual or loving of any kind when there are so many others murdering straight away in GOD's name somewhere.
your humble servant,
ancient clown
P.S. WOW & Congrats on the number of countries you've got now...I remember when you passed 100.
I just hit 140 a couple of days ago.

There is a resounding desire for meaningfull freeroll tournaments in which Williamhillpoker players at all levels have the opportunity to compete in tournament play when the prize money is huge... but the buyin is somewhat prohibitive most.
